Glass tour to Finland

Last month my class and I went on a week long study trip to learn about Finnish glass and production.  The trip started Monday with a 7 hour bus trip from Nybro to Stockholm.  Once arriving in Stockholm, we stayed a day to take in some sights.

Bridge crossing where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea.
Old Town
Stockholm is the capital and largest city in Sweden.
Walking down to the outdoor, underground shopping centre.
Stockholm is the site of the national Swedish government, the Riksdag (parliament), and the official residence of the Swedish monarch as well as the prime minister.
The royal castle in Stockholm. It is the biggest castle in world that is still in use by a king. The castle is the workplace for Karl XVI. The royal family lives in another palace outside Stockholm.
